Botox FAQs
How much does Botox cost in Cherry Hill, NJ?
Standard Botox is $12 per unit. Our Upper/Lower Face package brings that to $10 per unit (55 units for $550) and our Full Face package to $9.50 per unit (110 units for $1,050) — our lowest rate. A Lip Flip is $99 flat.
Any units you don't use in a package session are banked for your next visit, so nothing is wasted. Every treatment includes an in-depth dynamic facial mapping assessment at no additional charge, and there are no consultation fees.
Pricing applies to Botox Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau. Dysport is dosed in different units — roughly 2.5 to 3 Dysport units per 1 Botox unit — so we convert and quote you the equivalent, and you're always comparing fairly.
For context, most med spas in Cherry Hill and South Jersey charge $12 to $15 per unit, so our package pricing sits meaningfully below the local average. A typical three-area treatment runs roughly 40–60 units, landing most clients in the $380–$600 range.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
Yes. We accept cash and all major credit cards, and we offer three ways to split a treatment into monthly payments.
CareCredit
Promotional financing with no interest if paid in full within the promotional period:
- 6 months on purchases of $500 or more
- 12 months on purchases of $1,500 or more
- 18 months on purchases of $3,000 or more
Interest is charged from the purchase date if the balance is not paid in full within the promotional period, or if you make a late payment. Subject to credit approval. You can apply in a few minutes at carecredit.com, or we can help you at your appointment.
Klarna & Affirm
Both split a treatment into installments at checkout, with the terms shown to you before you commit.
Financing is what makes the Full Face package — our lowest per-unit rate at $9.50 — accessible without paying $1,050 up front. There are no consultation fees, and your dynamic facial mapping assessment is included at no additional charge.
How many units will I need?
It depends on your muscle strength, how established your lines are, and whether you want lines fully softened or just relaxed. Typical starting ranges: forehead 10–30 units, frown lines (11s) 15–30 units, crow's feet 10–30 units across both sides, brow lift 4–8 units, lip flip 4–6 units, masseter 20–50 units per side, neck bands 25–60 units.
Men generally need more units than women because of stronger facial musculature. Your exact dose is a clinical judgement we make during facial mapping — and you'll know the number and the price before we inject anything. Full per-area breakdown is in the dosing guide below.
When will I see results and how long does it last?
You'll start noticing results in 3 to 7 days, with full final results at 14 days. Standard neurotoxin results last 3 to 4 months.
Masseter and hyperhidrosis treatments often last longer — commonly 4 to 6 months. Consistent treatment over time can extend how long your results hold, because the muscle gradually weakens with less repetitive use.
What happens at my appointment?
Most clients are in and out in about 30 minutes. Four stages:
1 · Facial Mapping
We watch your face move — raise, frown, squint, smile — and map exactly which muscles are creating which lines. This is where a natural result is won or lost, and it's included at no additional charge.
2 · Your Plan & Quote
We agree on your goals, choose the right product, and give you an exact unit count and price before anything is injected. No surprises at checkout.
3 · Injection
10 to 20 minutes with an ultra-fine needle. Most clients describe it as a quick pinch. Numbing is rarely needed, and ice is available if you want it.
4 · Follow-Up at Two Weeks
Results fully settle at day 14. We check in, and if anything needs a small adjustment we handle it — that's part of the treatment, not an upsell.
Does it hurt, and what is the downtime?
The treatment is quick — typically 15 to 30 minutes including consultation and mapping. We use an ultra-fine needle and most clients describe it as a quick, tiny pinch. Numbing is usually not required, though ice is always available.
There is essentially zero downtime. You may have slight redness or tiny raised bumps at the injection sites that look like mosquito bites — these settle within an hour. Minor bruising is possible but uncommon. Stay upright and avoid heavy cardio for at least 4 hours. Most clients come in on a lunch break and go straight back to work.
What are the aftercare instructions?
There's no real recovery, but the first 24 hours matter. Following these keeps the product exactly where we placed it and minimizes any chance of bruising.
Do
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours — no lying flat, no napping
- Gently exercise the treated muscles: frown, raise your brows, squint
- Drink plenty of water
- Sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated the first night
- Use a cold compress wrapped in cloth for minor swelling
- Wash your face normally — just be gentle
Don't
- Rub, massage or press the treated areas
- Do heavy cardio or anything that makes you sweat for 24 hours
- Drink alcohol for 24 hours — it increases bruising
- Book a facial, massage, sauna or hot yoga for 24–48 hours
- Wear makeup for the rest of the day if you can avoid it
- Panic if you see small mosquito-bite bumps — they settle within an hour
Botox vs Dysport vs Xeomin vs Jeuveau — what's the difference?
All four are FDA-approved botulinum toxin type A and work the same fundamental way. The differences are onset, spread and formulation — which is exactly why we stock all four rather than defaulting to one.
- Botox Cosmetic — onset 3–5 days, precise and contained spread. The gold standard, and our choice for detailed work where placement must stay exactly where we put it: lip flip, gummy smile, brow shaping.
- Dysport — onset 2–3 days, diffuses more readily. Excellent for large flat areas like a broad forehead, and for a softer, more feathered finish. Often the fastest to kick in.
- Xeomin — onset 3–5 days, precise spread. A "naked" or purified toxin with no accessory proteins. The go-to if you've developed resistance to other brands over time.
- Jeuveau — onset 2–4 days, spread similar to Botox. Purpose-built for cosmetic use and notably effective on stubborn, deep glabellar frown lines.
We select based on your anatomy and goals, not on what we happen to have in stock.
Will it make me look frozen?
Not when it's dosed and placed correctly. A frozen look comes from over-treating, or from injecting without accounting for how the surrounding muscles compensate. Our approach starts with dynamic facial mapping specifically so we can soften the lines you dislike while preserving natural animation.
If you're nervous, tell us. We'll start conservatively — it's always easy to add more at your two-week follow-up, and impossible to remove.
Why choose AnatomicL?
Neurotoxin is a sculpting tool, not just a smoothing one. Most of what separates a good result from an obvious one happens before the needle.
- Precision muscle mapping — a dynamic analysis of your facial anatomy and expression patterns, so dosing is tailored rather than templated.
- Physician-directed — a Board-Certified Physician with Nurse Practitioner and PA injectors.
- Advanced contouring — we sculpt as well as smooth, from the Nefertiti Lift to masseter slimming.
- Artistic lip work — specialists in the lip flip and gummy smile correction, for a fuller lip with no filler and no overdone look.
- All four major brands in-house — so we match the product to your face rather than to our inventory.
- Transparent pricing with banked units — no consultation fees, and unused package units carry over.
- Flexible payment — cash, all major credit cards, and promotional financing through CareCredit, Klarna and Affirm.
Lip Flip vs Nefertiti Lift vs Full Face — what's the difference?
- Lip Flip — a few units above the upper lip relax the muscle so the lip rolls gently outward, creating the appearance of a fuller lip without adding any volume. $99.
- Nefertiti Lift — targets the platysmal neck bands and jawline to release the muscles pulling the lower face downward, producing a lifted, more contoured jaw-to-neck line.
- Full Face Botox — treats the upper face for wrinkles and the lower face for lift and slimming, including masseter reduction, for overall facial harmony. 110 units for $1,050.
Am I a good candidate?
Botox is a good fit if you want to smooth existing fine lines, prevent deeper lines from forming, subtly enhance your lips without filler, or slim your jawline and lift your neck without surgery.
It isn't appropriate if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, have a neuromuscular condition such as myasthenia gravis or ALS, have an active skin infection at the treatment site, or have a known allergy to botulinum toxin. We review your full medical history at your consultation.
Are there risks or side effects?
Side effects are rare and temporary. You may experience minor bruising, slight swelling at injection sites, or a mild headache on the day of treatment. Less commonly, temporary brow or eyelid heaviness can occur — this resolves as the product wears off and is largely avoided with precise placement.
What age should I start?
There's no single right age. Most people start somewhere between their late 20s and mid 30s. The useful marker isn't your age — it's whether lines are still there when your face is completely at rest. Once a line stays visible without any expression, it's etched into the skin and takes longer to soften.
Starting preventatively with micro-dosing (Baby Tox) before that point is generally the most efficient long-term approach.
Can I combine it with filler or other treatments?
Yes, and they're genuinely complementary. Botox relaxes muscles that create movement lines; filler restores lost volume and structure. Many clients combine both in one visit. We also frequently pair neurotoxin with PRP/PRF and skin rejuvenation — we'll sequence everything appropriately at your consultation.
